Being an Administrative Assistant
Administrative Assistants support office staff in all aspects of internal organization. This role may work directly for one principal / manager or support a team of executives. The Administrative Assistant is responsible for all calendaring, timekeeping, and overall ad hoc support on a daily basis.
Core Responsibilities
- Maintaining a busy and ever-changing calendar with constant communication and follow-up
- Handling special requests, projects, and related duties as needed
- Answering phone calls and relaying messages promptly
- Handling all aspects of correspondence and package deliveries
- Running errands; supply procurement
Skillset Required
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organization skills
- Computer savvy with proficiency in PC systems, including Outlook, Word and Excel programs
- Polished and professional in both mindset and manor; use of utmost discretion at all times
- Expressing eagerness to execute tasks efficiently and exceed expectations
