Description:

Private family in North Hampton, NH seeks an experienced Executive Housekeeper to assist in the daily cleaning, care, and service of their 18,000sq ft. estate. This position consists of a five-day workweek, roughly 40 hours per week.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Maintaining clean, organized, and meticulous homes ensuring that they are always “service ready”
• Grocery Shopping and restocking household items
• Ensuring that the kitchen, bedroom suites, bathrooms, and other common areas are cleaned and re-staged daily
• Following an interior cleaning schedule for regular and deep cleaning of the property, ensuring that the main house and carriage house are cleaned (in addition to the twice per week support of a deep cleaning service), utilizing a zone system established with the
• Managing specialty cleaning and other household projects
• Ensuring that homes are prepared for guests at all times,
• Assisting with dinner party food prep and event setup including table setting/service, décor, and flowers
• Keeping all storage cupboards and storage in the household organized
• Acting as a laundress, caring for and maintaining all the household linens and personal clothing of the family
• Organizing and keeping an inventory of kids clothing
• Sorting and logging linens and clothing to dry cleaners
• Seasonal organization of clothing and storing of clothing, with aid of Executive Assistant
• Packing for trips
• Documenting all systems on the estate for ease of understanding for family, guests, staff members and vendors
• Keeping an up to date, detailed and transparent punch list of all action items (Microsoft To Do) that can be accessed at all times by the team and/or Principal
• Liaising with Family Office bookkeeper to ensure that all supporting documents for credit card charges are submitted timely, practicing cost containment
• Capturing all guests/vendors and deep cleaning schedules in household calendar
• Running household errands, if needed
 
 
Requirements:

• Strong command of English language; outstanding communication skills both written and verbal
• Excellent references required from both current and previous employers
• Minimum 7 – 10+ years of experience working in a private home
• Valid Driver’s License is REQUIRED, confident driver with a clean driving record
• Extensive cleaning/laundering knowledge for fine materials
• Travel to and from the Principal’s secondary homes
• Computer proficiency
• Child and pet friendly
• Self-starter and self-motivated; needs to be able to think ahead to predict family’s needs
• Must present oneself in a professional manner or style, polished and poised at all times
• Legally able to work in the United States
