Private family in Roxbury, Connecticut seeks a dynamic and experienced Estate Manager / Personal Assistant to assist with the daily care and maintenance of their residence as well as oversight of the family’s additional projects. The position consists of a full time, 5-day work week, Monday through Friday 8:30am to 6:00pm with overriding flexibility and availability to work extended hours and weekends when necessary. The ideal candidate MUST be adept in all areas of organization, calendaring, and overseeing vendors and contractors. Additionally, the ideal candidate will be responsible for oversight of project management, staff onboarding and issues and act as an additional liaison between the family and the in-residence staff.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Acting as the family’s Estate Manager, and Personal Assistant
• Maintaining a busy and ever-changing calendar with constant communication and follow-up
• Overseeing all elements of hospitality service within the residence daily
• Personal shopping, running errands, and concierge work
• Managing additional household staff including managing & supervising contractors, housekeepers and other domestic staff
• Managing all vendor and contractor relationships including calendaring, accounts payable, project management, etc.
• Oversight of additional aspects of management and organization, including closets, pantries, storage areas, etc.
• General management and organization of residence, with attention to special projects as needed and per request
• Additional Estate Manager / Personal Assistant responsibilities as needed

• Strong command of English language; outstanding writing and verbal skills
• Bachelor’s degree from a 4 year College or University is a plus but not required
• Excellent references required from both current and previous employers
• Minimum 5 - 7+ years related experience working with a private or HNW family
• Exceptional organizational skills and dedication to responsibilities; prioritization and efficiency
• High level of attention to detail; ability to catch all discrepancies on low and high level
• Computer savvy with proficiency in both MAC & PC systems, including Office, Internet, Social Media and email
• Polished, poised and professional in both mindset and manor; use of utmost discretion at all times
• Flexibility in scheduling; willingness to work long hours and overtime
• Willingness to adapt to an ever-changing and often unstructured environment; ability to manage challenging personalities and high-stress environments
• Valid Driver’s License REQUIRED; must have clean record
• Legally able to work within the United States
