Private client seeks a proactive, resourceful, and extremely organized Personal Assistant / House Manager to provide direct support to the Lady of the Residence in all aspects of her personal endeavors while running the primary residence on the Upper East Side. This position consists of a five-day flex workweek, Monday to Friday with overriding flexibility for longer hours and additional days as needed upon request. The most successful candidate will have a 24/7 mentality. As many different hats will be worn in assuming this role, the ideal candidate must also be flexible with frequent, last- minute changes as well as understand how to prioritize tasks of different urgency level in accordance with the Lady of the Residence’s and households’ specific needs.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Serving as an all-around gatekeeper to the Lady of the Residence
• Maintaining a busy and ever-changing calendar with constant communication and follow-up; scheduling all appointments
• Coordinating travel arrangements with details itineraries; booking car services
• Proactively managing & prioritizing incoming & outgoing correspondence, including external/internal mailers, telephone calls, etc.
• Responsible for onboarding and training of additional household staff including scheduling and payroll and overseeing their related tasks and responsibilities
• Liaising with existing household staff members on a daily basis
• Handling all packages including deliveries, shipping, tracking etc..
• Coordinating and providing seamless transition for all seasonal moves to other residences
• Assisting in the coordination of all private events
• Managing all vendor and contractor relationships including calendaring, accounts payable, project management, etc.
• General management and organization of residence, with attention to special projects as needed and per request
• Personal shopping, running errands, concierge work
• Additional general Personal Assistant / House Manager duties upon request

• Strong command of English language; outstanding written and verbal skills
• Minimum 5+ years related experience working in a similar role for a family
• Excellent references required from both current and previous employers
• Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year accredited college or university preferred
• Exceptional organizational skills and dedication to responsibilities; above and beyond attitude
• Strong time management skills and task prioritization; ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Attention to detail; eagerness to execute tasks efficiently and exceed expectations
• Computer savvy with proficiency in both Mac and PC systems; strong knowledge in Microsoft Office REQUIRED
• Polished, poised and professional in both mindset and manor; use of utmost discretion at all times
• Willingness to adapt to an ever-changing and often unstructured environment whilst remaining calm an composed
• Flexibility in scheduling; willingness to work long hours, overtime, and additional days
• Valid Driver’s License
• Legally able to work within the United States
