Private family seeks an energetic and proactive Nanny / Family Assistant to provide care for their three school-aged children. This is a full-time position, 5 days flexible workweek, roughly 50 hours per week, with overriding flexibility to work additional hours and weekends when requested. Aside from providing childcare, the ideal candidate would also be responsible for heavy calendar, errands, and project management within the home. Travel will be required with the family as needed. The ideal candidate will be nurturing, diligent, and organized to help the children through school.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Assisting in the daily care, nurturing, and supervision of the family’s children
• Managing busy calendars and scheduling lessons, appointments, and extracurricular activities, etc.
• Assisting with homework as well as school projects
• Assorted Family Assistant duties as needed (retrieving dry cleaning, grocery shopping, errands, light pet care etc.)
• Packing and unpacking for trips and vacations
• Preparation of light and healthy family-style meals
• Traveling with the family domestically and internationally
• Additional Nanny / Family Assistant responsibilities and duties as needed and requested by the Principals

• Strong command of English language; outstanding communication skills both written and verbal
• Excellent references required from both current and previous employers
• Minimum 3+ years of experience working in a private home
• Experience working with teenagers HIGHLY PREFERRED
• Exceptional organizational skills and dedication to responsibilities
• Technologically savvy; knowledgeable with Mac and PC, smart phones, computers, printers, TV, and smart home systems
• Flexibility in scheduling with willingness to work additional hours or overtime as needed
• Polished, poised, and professional in both mindset and manner; use of utmost discretion at all times
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable and willing to work in a home with pets; family has dogs
• Light cooking skills; able and willing to prepare meals for children
• Valid Driver’s License is REQUIRED; confident driver with clean record
• Valid passport is REQUIRED; willing and able to travel domestic and abroad
• Legally able to work in the United States
