Lovely Upper East Side family seeks an experienced and hardworking Housekeeper to help manage their home. The position is Live-Out, Monday – Friday, roughly 10–12-hour days. The ideal candidate should be extremely detail-oriented, have strong knowledge of deep cleaning and laundry services in addition to primary housekeeping duties, and a proactive attitude towards keeping the home in pristine order. The ideal candidate must be flexible to travel to the Hamptons during the summer. Private accommodations inclusive of a bedroom and bathroom will be provided when living in.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• All aspects of general housekeeping and deep cleaning of residence
• Ability to perform museum-quality cleaning with proficiency in special surfaces (wood, glass, leather, antiques, silver, etc.)
• Superior organization skills and willingness to go above and beyond in all aspects of the job
• Completing the family’s laundry including washing and ironing clothes
• Preparation of healthy, nutritious, family-style meals when needed
• Polished, poised, and professional in both mindset and manor; use of utmost discretion at all times
• Willingness to run routine errands such as doing laundry, dry cleaner, groceries, etc.
• Daily cleaning, care, and upkeep of the residence
• Additional Housekeeper responsibilities and duties as needed and requested by the family

• Strong command of English language; outstanding communication skills both written and verbal
• Excellent references required from both current and previous employers
• Minimum 5 - 7+ years of experience working in a private home
• Self-motivated and self-starter; ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Exceptional organizational skills and dedication to responsibilities; willing and able to take direction well
• Willing and able to provide light pet care for the family’s 3 dogs
• Cooking skills required; able and willing to prepare healthy, family-style meals occasionally
• Polished, poised, and professional in both mindset and manner; use of utmost discretion and confidentiality at all times
• Flexibility in scheduling with the willingness to work additional hours as needed
• Legally able to work in the United States
