A lovely Couple in Bridgehampton / Upper East Side seeks an experienced Housekeeper / Cook to assist in the daily cleaning, care, and service of their home. This position consists of a five-day workweek Monday – Friday, roughly 50-hour workweek, with flexibility as needed. The ideal candidate should be extremely detail-oriented, have a strong knowledge of deep cleaning service, and able to provide laundress duties. The candidate must have strong cooking skills and able to prepare and assist with healthy, family-style meals. Due to the current virus situation, the family is currently located in Bridgehampton and is looking for someone comfortable with 7 days live-in (having the days off at the family’s residence) and once the situation with the virus is resolved, the candidate will be able to go to their own residence on their days off and the position will become live-out in the city.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• All aspects of general housekeeping, deep cleaning, and upkeep of the residence
• Ability to perform museum-quality cleaning with proficiency in special surfaces (wood, glass, leather, antiques, silver, etc.)
• Superior organization skills and willingness to go above and beyond in all aspects of the job
• Polished, poised and professional in both mindset and manor; use of utmost discretion at all times
• Management and organization of all closets, pantries, and storage areas
• Preparation of healthy, nutritious, family-style meals
• Maintaining residence for guest readiness at all times
• Willingness to run routine errands such as dry cleaners, groceries, taking to appointments, etc.
• Additional Housekeeper responsibilities and duties as needed and requested by the family

• Strong command of English language; outstanding communication skills both written and verbal
• Excellent references required from both current and previous employers
• Minimum 5 -7 + years of experience working in a private home
• Valid Driver’s License REQUIRED; confident driver with a clean driving record
• Valid Passport a PLUS; with the willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Exceptional organizational skills and dedication to responsibilities; willing and able to take direction well
• Thorough knowledge of deep household cleaning, laundry, and organization
