Private Upper East Side family seeks an experienced, discreet, and reliable Chauffeur to assist with the day-to-day driving of the family. This position consists of a Monday-Friday schedule, with occasional flexibility to work later evenings or weekends. The ideal candidate must have an excellent driving record and care greatly about the safety of the passengers while driving. The candidate will have excellent knowledge of New York City and the Tri-State area. The ideal candidate will be tech-savvy with the ability to follow a complex and ever-changing calendar through Outlook on iPhone. A vehicle will be provided for this position.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Driving the principals and their children to and from work, school, meetings, and appointments on a daily basis
• Accounting for the insurance, registration, and the maintenance of the vehicle; ensuring all records are up to date and all services are recorded
• Maintaining the vehicle for guest readiness (gas levels, cleanliness of the vehicle, etc.) at all times
• Preparing routing, directions and additional due-diligence in advance in order to maintain the utmost safety while chauffeuring
• Communicating with additional staff members; executing the needs of an ever-changing calendar
• Assisting principals in and out of the vehicle
• Additional general Chauffeur duties upon request

• Strong command of English language; outstanding writing and verbal skills
• Excellent references required from both current and previous employers
• Minimum 5+ years related experience working as Chauffeur or in a similar role
• Excellent knowledge of New York City and Tri-state area
• Polished, poised, and professional in both mindset and manor; use of utmost discretion at all times
• MUST be able to help passengers in and out of the vehicle
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize work
• Proficiency with Outlook, iPhone, and other related technologies
• Must be comfortable with children and pets
• Valid Driver’s License; confident driver with zero points on license
• Legally able to work within the United States
