Private family seeks a proactive, experienced, organized and detail-oriented House Manager to assist with the service, coordination, management, and maintenance of their expansive primary LA residence. This is a full-time, 5-day position with flexibility to work weekends and/or long hours when principals are in-residence. The ideal candidate will be a genuine team player and manage the household with cohesive and positive energy. This individual will be a motivated self-starter and possess a “no task is too big or small” attitude to efficiently run the interior of the guest house and the pool house. This position will require the candidate to have exceptional time management and task prioritization skills to anticipate any needs of the family and/or residence.
Primary duties include, but are not limited to:
• Running day-to-day household operations and overseeing all elements of maintenance
• Ensuring the residence is always in pristine guest-readiness condition
• Hiring, training, and managing household staff
• Oversight of all inventory, deliveries, renovation projects and general maintenance of the residence; making client aware of any necessary repairs or purchases that are beyond the scope of the household staff
• Managing and maintaining relationships with multiple vendors and contractors
• Overseeing household staff schedule
• Assisting with formal service of meals / drinks as requested
• Keeping the home stocked with essential items
• Running errands as needed
• Maintaining a detailed household calendar
• Additional House Manager responsibilities as requested by the Principals

• Strong command of English language; superb communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent references required from both current and previous employers
• Minimum 3 – 5+ years related experience working in a similar role for a private estate or family
• Exceptional organizational skills and dedication to responsibilities; above and beyond attitude
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team; able to work with additional household staff
• Polished, poised, and professional; strong time management skills and task prioritization
• MUST be physically agile; able to navigate an expansive residence
• Incredibly hands-on approach to household management and service
• Comfortable and confident working in fast-paced environments where the utmost discretion and confidentiality are required
• Exceptional “razor-sharp” eye for detail and organizational skills, aesthetically minded
• Technology savvy with proficiency in both Mac and PC; Smart Home systems knowledge
• MUST be comfortable working around children and pets
• Legally able to work within the United States
