Private family seeks an experienced, confident, and positive candidate to work as their Live-out Estate Manager to oversee and manage their Palm Beach residence and staff. This position requires flexibility in scheduling and an on-call mentality, with the understanding that while this is primarily an office position, it will also require the candidate to be hands-on when needed. This position requires travel between residences when needed. A deep understanding of working in a formal home is required. The ideal candidate will have the ability to manage and oversee a well established staff.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Overseeing and managing day-to-day household functions
• Travel between residences as needed
• Managing the upkeep of the properties including grounds, residence, pool, etc.
• The Ability to cohesively manage year-round housekeeping and grounds staff
• Creating maintenance schedules for residences and equipment; ensuring schedules are adhered to by all staff
• Overseeing and reporting on household budgets and expenses
• Maintaining working order of electronic systems, iPads, speakers, and WiFi throughout the home
• Sourcing, hiring and overseeing all vendor and contractor work (e.g. electrician, plumber, HVAC, carpentry, gardening help, etc.) including but not limited to, checking credentials, insurance, references and obtaining quotes as well as coordinating access/entry and overseeing the overall quality of the work
• Oversight of all deliveries; renovation projects and general maintenance of the residence
• Running errands and maintaining household supplies and groceries, in conjunction with the family’s Chefs

• Strong command of English language; superior communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent references required from both current and previous employers
• Minimum 8-10+ years related experience working for a private family in a similar role
• Exceptional organizational skills and dedication to responsibilities; above and beyond attitude with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility in scheduling with willingness to work long hours and overtime as needed
• MUST have positive, pleasant, and team-player attitude; strong service-oriented mindset
• Fine dining service and high-end hospitality experience a strong PLUS
• Comfortable working in a home with children
• Experience working in fast-paced environments where the utmost discretion and confidentiality are required
• Authorized to work within the United States
