Lovely family in New York seeks an energetic and trustworthy Nanny to provide childcare to their school-aged child. This position consists of a 20 hours workweek, Monday to Friday schedule, starting around 3pm with flexibility to work nights and on weekends as needed. The ideal candidate will assist with homework, and keep the child engaged by creating fun and educational activities. The ideal candidate is someone nurturing and caring, who is willing to go above and beyond what is asked for and is adaptable in a fast- pace environment.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Assisting in the daily care, nurturing, feeding and supervision of the child
• Coordinating the child’s daily activities; providing/supervising transportation both to and from lessons, appointments, and extracurricular activities, etc.
• Must strive to create a fun, stimulating, and supportive environment for the home, as well as nurturing and trusting relationships with the child
• Must be comfortable working in a household with dogs
• Packing and unpacking clothes for travel, both domestic and abroad
• Providing a safe and clean environment for the child; tidying up after child, organizing rooms and play areas
• Laundry duties for the child as needed including organization, hand washing, dry cleaning etc.
• Candidate must be willing to travel with the family domestically and internationally
• Additional Nanny responsibilities and duties as needed and requested by the family

• Strong command of English language; outstanding communication skills both written and verbal
• Excellent references required from both current and previous employers
• Exceptional organizational skills and dedication to responsibilities; willing and able to take direction well
• Polished, poised and professional in both mindset and manner; use of utmost discretion and confidentiality at all times
• Valid Driver’s License is required, confident driver with a clean driving record
• Valid Passport REQUIRED; with willingness to travel both domestic and abroad as needed and upon request
• Must be comfortable working in an environment with dogs and other pets
• Legally able to work in the United States
