Private Client seeks an experienced Housekeeper to help maintain and clean their residence. This position is Mondays, Wednesdays and every other Friday in Brooklyn and Tuesdays and Thursdays in Westchester from 9:00am – 5:00pm. The ideal candidate must be proactive, extremely detailed oriented, and have the ability to multi-task to keep the home in pristine order and be able to perform laundress duties. The candidate must also be able to prepare a family-style dinner for the family once a week. The candidate must be willing to drive to their upstate home for the day on occasional Fridays to get the residence guest-ready before arrival.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• All aspects of general housekeeping and deep cleaning of residence
• Ability to perform museum-quality cleaning with proficiency in special surfaces (wood, glass, leather, antiques, silver, etc.)
• Completing the client's laundry including washing and ironing clothes
• Superior organization skills and willingness to go above and beyond in all aspects of the job
• Polished, poised, and professional in both mindset and manor; use of utmost discretion at all times
• Cleaning, care, and upkeep of the residences
• Additional Housekeeper responsibilities and duties as needed and requested by the family

• Strong command of English language; outstanding communication skills both written and verbal
• Excellent references required from both current and previous employers
• Minimum 5 - 7+ years of experience working in a private home
• Exceptional organizational skills and dedication to responsibilities; willing and able to take direction well
• Thorough knowledge of deep household cleaning, and storage organization
• Cooking skills REQUIRED; able and willing to prepare a family-style meal once a week
• Polished, poised, and professional in both mindset and manner; use of utmost discretion and confidentiality at all times
• Flexibility in scheduling with the willingness to work additional hours as needed
• Valid Driver’s License is REQUIRED, a confident driver with a clean driving record
• Legally able to work in the United States
