Private family seeks an energetic and proactive Housekeeper to assist in the daily cleaning, care, and service of their residence. This schedule for this position is 3 weeks on, 6 days off. Due to the current virus situation the family is located in Palm Beach, FL until April and will then return to their Hamptons / Manhattan residences. The ideal candidate should be extremely detail-oriented, have strong knowledge of deep cleaning services in addition to primary housekeeping duties, and a proactive attitude towards keeping the home in pristine order. Prior experience working with a team of staff is required and the family is open to candidates based in New York or Florida.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• All aspects of general housekeeping, deep cleaning, and upkeep of the residence
• Ability to perform museum-quality cleaning
• Completing the family’s laundry including washing and ironing clothes and sheets as needed
• Superior organization skills and willingness to go above and beyond in all aspects of the job
• Management and organization of all closets, pantries, and storage areas
• Maintaining residence for guest readiness at all times
• Willingness to run routine errands such as dry cleaners, groceries, etc. when needed
• Additional Housekeeper responsibilities and duties as needed and requested by the family

• Strong command of English language; outstanding communication skills both written and verbal
• Excellent references required from both current and previous employers
• Minimum 5 - 7+ years of experience working in a private home
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Exceptional organizational skills and dedication to responsibilities; willing and able to take direction well
• Thorough knowledge of deep household cleaning, laundry, and organization
• Polished, poised, and professional in both mindset and manner; use of utmost discretion and confidentiality at all times
• Flexibility in scheduling with the willingness to work additional hours as needed
• Legally able to work in the United States
