Private Greenwich, CT family seeks an experienced full-time Housekeeper to assist in the daily cleaning, care, and service of their large property alongside a Head Housekeeper. This position consists of a 5-day workweek, either Tuesday – Saturday or Sunday – Thursday, 8:00am – 6:00pm with overriding flexibility for additional hours as needed and upon request. The candidate should be extremely detail-oriented and be comfortable working independently and additional staff. In addition to primary housekeeping duties, the ideal candidate must also be flexible and have prior experience working with children in the event that they need someone to work with the kids. This role will start around March / April, but the family is opened to interviewing candidates now.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• All aspects of general housekeeping, deep cleaning, and upkeep of the residence
• Ability to perform museum-quality cleaning with proficiency in special surfaces (wood, glass, leather, antiques, silver, etc.)
• Completing the family’s laundry including washing and ironing clothes as necessary or needed
• Superior organization skills and willingness to go above and beyond in all aspects of the job
• Polished, poised, and professional in both mindset and manor; use of utmost discretion at all times
• Maintaining residence for guest readiness at all times
• Willingness to run routine errands such as dry cleaners, groceries, etc.
• Additional Housekeeper responsibilities and duties as needed and requested by the family

• Strong command of English language; outstanding communication skills both written and verbal
• Excellent references required from both current and previous employers
• Minimum 5 -7+ years of experience working in a private home
• Valid Driver’s License is REQUIRED, confident driver with a clean driving record
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Exceptional organizational skills and dedication to responsibilities; willing and able to take direction well
• Thorough knowledge of deep household cleaning, laundry, organization, fine arts, and antiques
• Polished, poised, and professional in both mindset and manner; use of utmost discretion and confidentiality at all times
• Willing and able to provide light childcare when needed
• Must be comfortable working in a home with pets
• Flexibility in scheduling with the willingness to work additional hours as needed
