Private family seeks a motivated and self-starter House Manager / Caretaker Manager to assist in the daily management, upkeep and care of the interior, exterior and grounds of their estate in Greenwich, CT. This is a full-time, Live-Out position with a five-day flexible workweek, Monday to Friday, roughly 8:00am to 5:00pm with overriding flexibility for longer hours or additional days (weekend) upon request or in case of emergency. This position will report directly to the Personal Assistant of the Lady of the residence. This is a hands-on position hence, prior experience with small in-home repairs is required, while also knowing when a vendor and contractor is needed. The ideal candidate will be a genuine team player with the ability to work as part of a team and take directions. The candidate will assist the Personal Assistant with scheduling vendors and contractors while acting as point of contact on site.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Demonstrating a hands-on approach in daily management and upkeep of the interior and exterior of the residence
• Ability to perform regular residence walkthrough, creating checklists if necessary
• Assisting with scheduling vendors and contractors; acting as point of contact on-site; providing management and supervision
• Working alongside Personal Assistant to ensure household is running seamlessly
• Acting as handyman for small repairs around the home (i.e replacing light bulbs…)
• Running errands, assisting with household supplies and stock management
• Ensuring property is child-proofed
• Fueling vehicles as needed
• Assuming additional House Manager / Caretaker roles for the family and their property as needed

• Strong command of English language; superior communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent references required from both current and previous employers
• Minimum 5– 7+ years related experience working in a similar role for a private family
• Incredibly hands-on with experience managing and maintaining both interior and exterior amenities
• Exceptional organizational skills and dedication to responsibilities; above and beyond attitude
• Polished, poised, and professional; strong time management skills and task prioritization
• Flexibility in scheduling with willingness to work long hours, weekends and overtime as needed upon request
• Well-versed in HVAC systems and all small household repairs
• Adept in operating smart home technology and accompanying systems
• Computer savvy with proficiency in both Mac and PC systems, including Office, Internet and email
• Valid Drivers License; confident driver with zero points on license
• Legally able to work within the United States
