A lovely family in the West Village seeks an experienced Housekeeper / Nanny to perform the daily cleaning, care, and service of their townhouse as well as assisting in the care for their children. This position is Friday – Monday roughly 12-hour days with the flexibility as needed. The ideal candidate should be extremely detail-oriented and have a proactive attitude towards keeping the home in pristine order. This position is live-out and will become live-in when traveling on the weekends and during the summer to the Hamptons or to their home in Upstate, New York.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• All aspects of general housekeeping, deep cleaning, and upkeep of the residence
• Assisting in the daily care, nurturing, and supervision of the children
• Superior organization skills and willingness to go above and beyond in all aspects of the job
• Procurement of household supplies and groceries
• Completing the family’s laundry including washing and ironing clothes as necessary
• Preparation of healthy, nutritious, meals for the children
• Willingness to run routine errands such as dry cleaners, groceries, etc.
• Additional Housekeeper / Nanny responsibilities and duties as needed and requested by the family

• Strong command of English language; outstanding communication skills both written and verbal
• Excellent references required from both current and previous employers
• Minimum 7 - 10+ years of experience working in a private home
• Valid Driver’s License REQUIRED, confident driver with a clean driving record
• Valid Passport a PLUS; with the willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Exceptional organizational skills and dedication to responsibilities; willing and able to take direction well
• Thorough knowledge of deep household cleaning, laundry, and organization
• Polished, poised and professional in both mindset and manner; use of utmost discretion and confidentiality at all times
• Cooking skills required; able and willing to prepare light, healthy meals for the children
• Flexibility in scheduling with the willingness to work additional hours as needed
• Legally able to work in the United States
