Description:

Private Philadelphia family is seeking to hire an energetic, self-starter, and motivated House Manager / Personal Assistant to assist with the continuous coordination, management, and maintenance of their primary residence and organization of the Lady of the Residence’s personal endeavors. The schedule consists of a five-day flex workweek, Monday to Friday, roughly 9:00am to 5:00pm, with OVERRIDING flexibility to work additional hours when needed and requested. This position will require the individual to be available via phone and emails outside of working hours. A proactive mindset is essential to succeeding in this role. This position will require working out of the principals’ residence. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented and organized with exceptional communication skills to ensure seamless running of the residence; a “no task is too big or too small” mindset is required. MUST be pet-friendly!

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Serving as an all-around gatekeeper to the principal
• Maintaining regular communication with the Lady of the Residence; prioritizing updates
• Managing all vendor and contractor relationships including calendaring, accounts payable & project management
• Assisting with calendar planning, scheduling, travel coordination for the Lady of the Residence
• Managing and monitoring expenses; identifying and ensuring budgets are respected
• Personal shopping, stock procurement, grocery shopping, running errands, and concierge work
• Oversight of all deliveries, renovation projects and general maintenance of the residence; making client aware of any necessary repairs or purchases
• Handling all administrative duties regarding insurances for vehicles and home ownership
• Providing light-pet care as needed
• Additional general House Manager / Personal Assistant duties upon request;
 
 
Requirements:

• Strong command of English language; outstanding writing and verbal skills
• Minimum 2 - 5+ years related experience working in a similar role for a Private Family
• Minimum 4-year degree from accredited college or school PREFERRED
• Excellent references required from both current and previous employers
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize work
• Active and agile; able to easily move throughout a multi-level residence with ease
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
• Flexibility in scheduling; willingness to work additional hours as needed; 24/7 mentality
• Computer and technology savvy with proficiency in MAC and/or PC
• Polished, poised and professional in both mindset and manor; use of utmost discretion at all times
• Self-motivating and able to seamlessly anticipate the needs of the principal
• MUST be pet-friendly
• Valid Driver’s License; confident driver with zero points on license
• Legally able to work within the United States
