Description:

Private Palm Beach couple seeks an energetic and efficient Executive Housekeeper / Assistant House Manager to assist with the daily care and upkeep of their formal residence and attend to any and all needs associated with the principals, the domestic staff and the residence. While there is administrative responsibilities required in this role, the Executive Housekeeper must be hands-on as they will be scheduled for multiple cleaning shifts per week. This position consists of a rotating schedule with overtime required during busy seasons, as well as flexibility for 24/7 phone & email attention.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Direction and hands-on training of additional 2-5 housekeepers/interior staff
• Updating and ensuring completion of daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning checklists
• Hands-on food service, setting tables and assisting with planning, set-up, organization and seamless orchestration of small to large-scale events
• Working with House Manager to update manuals and checklists
• Handling special requests and related duties as needed
• Facilitating errands, order supplies, phone correspondence, vendor communication etc.
• Additional general Personal Assistant / Jr. House Manager duties upon request with a constant need for overriding flexibility and desire to exceed all expectations
 
 
Requirements:

• Strong command of English language; outstanding writing and verbal skills
• Excellent references required from both current and previous employers
• Minimum 3 - 5+ years related experience working in a similar role(s) in a private home
• Exceptional organizational skills and dedication to responsibilities; prioritization and efficiency a MUST
• Fast learner with ability to easily grasp and understand new concepts
• Incredibly tech and computer savvy; proficiency in both Mac and PC systems as well as iPhone and Blackberry systems, including but not limited to Office, Internet and email, etc.
• Silver service and bartending skills required
• Polished, poised and professional in both mindset and manor; use of utmost discretion at all times
• Flexibility in scheduling; willingness to work long hours and overtime, on call 24/7 via Blackberry/iPhone
• Willingness to adapt to an ever-changing and often unstructured environment; ability to manage challenging personalities and high-stress environments
• Working with house manager to approve invoices and submit expense reports
• Opening and closing of house when house manager is not present
• Valid Drivers License; confident driver with zero points on license and owns a car
• Valid Passport; willing and able to travel both domestic and abroad as needed
• Legally able to work within the United States
