Luxury goods company based in Amsterdam seeks a professional and proactive Executive Assistant to support the Chief Executive Officer with day-to-day responsibilities. This position consists of a five-day workweek of Monday through Friday, roughly 8:30am to 6:00pm with OVERRIDING flexibility and willingness to work additional hours as needed upon request. The Chief Executive Officer works in Amsterdam 50% of the time and travels 50% of the time. The candidate will occasionally travel with the Principal when needed. The ideal candidate is meticulously organized, possesses strong leadership skills, and collaborates well within a team. This position involves 80% executive work and 20% personal work.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Coordinating extensive international travel arrangements both commercial and private; the Principal spends 700+ hours per year on flights
• Maintaining a busy and ever-changing calendar for business and personal matters; scheduling all appointments, meetings, and conference calls
• Conducting day-to-day gatekeeping within the office, particularly when the Principal is traveling
• Hiring junior members of staff; managing an administrative team
• Liaising and interacting with high profile clients and colleagues
• Occasionally organizing schedules and activities on behalf of the Principal’s children
• Overseeing personal finances and other administrative aspects of the home
• Managing special projects as needed upon request
• Additional general Executive Assistant duties as needed upon request

• Strong command of English language REQUIRED; Dutch or French is a PLUS
• Minimum 4-year degree from accredited college or university is REQUIRED
• Excellent references required from both current and previous employers
• Minimum 5 - 10+ years related experience working for a C-level Executive or similar role(s)
• Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail; prioritization and efficiency a must
• Computer and technology savvy with proficiency in both Mac and PC systems
• Polished and professional in both mindset and manor: use of utmost discretion at all times
• Energetic attitude; strong ability to prioritize and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility in scheduling; willingness to work long hours and overtime as needed
• Valid passport required; must be willing to travel
• Valid Driver’s License; confident driver with zero points on license
• Legally able to work within Amsterdam / European Union
