Description:

New York based high profile Staffing & Recruiting Agency seeks a savvy, energetic, outgoing and proactive Human Resources Assistant / Jr Recruiter. Responsibilities will include basic administrative functions throughout the office, as well as sourcing and interviewing candidates with the ultimate goal of permanently placing them with our clients. The ideal candidate will have an all-encompassing understanding of the business, as well as refined practical, professional, and Human Resources skill sets. The job requires an incredible organization for an ever-changing business calendar and complex schedule, extreme attention to detail, strong communication, customer service and interpersonal skills, and a desire to become an integral part of a fast-emerging company. The general workweek is Monday – Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm with flexibility.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Serving as all-around assistant and JR Recruiter to the Vice President of our NYC office
• All aspects of the staffing process - sourcing, coordinating, interviewing, negotiating, and placing candidates with our high-profile clients
• Conducting comprehensive reference and background checks
• Writing up detailed job descriptions and posting them on job board platforms
• Managing and overseeing a vast and ever-changing candidate database; implementing organization and filing systems for all resumes, paperwork and additional/supplemental forms both hard copy and electronically
 
 
Requirements:

• Bachelors degree holder or in process of obtaining Bachelors degree
• Minimum 3 + years related experience as a Human Resources Assistant or in Hospitality
• Previous experience in private service is a plus but not required
• Excellent references required from both current and previous employers
• Superb communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficiency in both Microsoft Office and Mac iOS 10, as well as iPhone and related Mac systems; tech-savvy
• Utmost discretion in all aspects of the job; both business and personal
• Detail oriented with exceptional organization and task management skills
• Dedication to responsibilities; proactive and driven attitude; willingness to succeed at all costs
• Valid US work authorization; MUST be legally able to work in the United States
