Private New York gentleman seeks a polished, experienced and professional Personal Assistant / House Manager to manage the daily care and upkeep of his Greenwich Village residence and attend to any and all needs associated with the principal, the domestic staff and the residence. This position consists of a Monday through Friday schedule, roughly 2pm – 11pm Monday – Thursday and 2pm – sunset Friday, with OVERRIDING flexibility for longer hours and travelling. The ideal candidate will be proficient in all correspondence and communication, entertaining, event planning, service oversight, and coordinating travel arrangements as needed.

This role consists of both personal assistant and household management responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling all administrative aspects of the home as well as personal tasks as requested. The personal assistant / house manager must ensure the smooth running of all aspects of the principal’s life with little to no direction. Must be comfortable making high level judgment calls while acting in the best interest of the principal.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Maintaining a busy and ever-changing calendar with constant communication and follow-up
• Coordinating and planning extensive travel itineraries both domestic and international
• Experience booking both private and commercial travel accommodations
• Assisting with planning, set-up, organization and seamless orchestration of small to large-scale events
• Greeting guests and making sure residence is guest ready at all times
• Manage household supplies and inventory
• Handling special requests and related duties as needed
• Overseeing outside contractors, and vendors
• Facilitating errands, phone correspondence, vendor communication etc.
• Additional general Personal Assistant / House Manager duties upon request with a constant need for overriding flexibility and desire to exceed all expectations

• Strong command of English language; outstanding written and verbal skills
• Fluent in Hebrew a major PLUS
• Excellent references required from both current and previous employers
• College degree required
• Experience in the service and hospitality field preferred
• Minimum 5 - 7+ years related experience working in a similar role(s) in a private home
• Exceptional organizational skills and dedication to responsibilities; prioritization and efficiency a MUST
• Fast learner with ability to easily grasp and understand new concepts
• Incredibly tech and computer savvy; proficiency in both Mac systems as well as iPhone, including but not limited to Office, Internet and email, bill pay, etc.
• Willingness to take on any role
• Polished, poised and professional in both mindset and manor; use of utmost discretion at all times
• Willingness to adapt to an ever-changing and often unstructured environment; ability to manage challenging personalities and high-stress environments
• Must be comfortable working around pets and performing various pet-related duties
• Valid Drivers License; confident driver with zero points on license
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required
• Legally able to work within the United States
