Description:

Prominent Boston-based lady of residence/CEO seeks a professional assistant to serve as a Personal Assistant, House Manager and Executive Housekeeper in her private residence. The position’s primary responsibility will be calendar management, overseeing all vendor and contract communication, coordinating travel arrangement and setting appointments. Additional support to the executive including basic housekeeping and laundry, light and healthy cooking, grocery shopping, as well as, taking caring of pets will be required. The schedule is Thursday to Monday, 10:00am-7:00pm with an overriding need for flexibility, occasionally weekend off.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Assisting with calendar planning, scheduling, travel coordination and logistics
• Scheduling daily activities for principle, including establishing a household manual to track all needs and all vendors
• Demonstrating a hands-on approach to home upkeep, including daily light cleaning of home, stock procurement, grocery shopping and all aspects of general housekeeping
• Maintaining residence for guest readiness at all times
• Managing all vendor and contract relationships and overseeing all deliveries and general maintenance of the residence
• Laundry services and dry cleaning management as needed
• Preparing and cooking for light and healthy lunch/dinner as needed
• Pet caring is a key part of the daily job: cat and rabbit
• Running errands and carrying out special requests as needed
 
 
Requirements:

• Strong command of English language; superior communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent references required from both current and previous employers
• Minimum 5 – 10 years related experience working as a Personal Assistant / House Manager / Executive Housekeeper
• Bachelor’s degree from a 4 year College or University is preferred
• Exceptional organizational skills and dedication to responsibilities; proactive with an above and beyond attitude; dedication to the service and success of the principals
• Adept in the use of smartphone technology; expert on both Mac and PC Systems and programs Microsoft Office Suite
• Utmost discretion in all aspects of the job where integrity, accountability, and loyalty are paramount; highly perceptive and considerate while being able to anticipate the needs of the principal
• Detail oriented with meticulous organization, task management, and communication skills
• Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as collaboratively as part of a team
• Legally able to work for any employer in the United States
