Youthful and dynamic West Palm Beach-based family of 6 seeks a Live-Out Nanny to assist with the childcare and nurturing of their four children, ages 2, 3, 6 and 8, on a full-time basis. The position will consist of a 5-day per week schedule, mainly Wednesday through Sunday with overriding flexibility as needed. On Wednesday through Friday, the hours will be from 12:30pm to 8:30pm, and on Saturday-Sunday, the working day will start from 8-9am and last for approximately 10-12 hours.

Mrs. is a stay-at-home mother, and utilizes the help of a Baby Nurse for her youngest (2 years old) since his birth. This position will primarily focus on the three older children, ages 3, 6 and 8, and will work in tandem with the Mrs. to ensure their needs are continually met, their safety is of utmost priority, and their schedules are attended to.

The children are all enrolled full-time in school during the year, and horseback riding camp during the summer, as well as a host of additional extra curricular activities including tutoring, swimming lessons, sports, etc. The ideal candidate will provide transportation and/or supervise the children while at their activities, as well as assist with preparation beforehand. The ideal candidate will assist with family scheduling, and will be responsible for preparing light, fresh and healthy organic-only meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) for the children on a full-time basis, as well as packed meals for school and camp.

The family has a second home in Wellington where they house their multiple horses and ponies, and extensive assistance will be required both supervising and transporting the children back and forth between the homes, as well as ensuring they have all supplies and materials they need when at each home.

During the months of July and August the family travels to their homes in the Hamptons and Martha’s Vineyard where the ideal candidate will accompany and transition to Live-In to ensure seamless care of the children. A private room and bathroom will be provided for the candidate while away.

The family is willing to consider out of state candidates and will provide private accommodations accordingly. The ideal candidate MUST be passionate about children, and desire to become a long-term member of this family’s team. Fluency in a second language (ideally French or Spanish) is a tremendous plus as Mrs. speaks French and Mr. Spanish. The ideal candidate will additionally and ultimately assist as the family moves to a larger home in early 2018.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Assisting in the daily care, nurturing, and supervision of the family’s four total children, ages 2,3 6 and 8 with a primary focus on the three eldest
• Light tidying up and organization on behalf of the children
• Creating and implementing a stimulating and educational environment for the children through reading, games, outdoor adventures, outings, crafts, exercises, and toy use
• Maintaining the children’s current school, camp and activities eating schedules, in tandem with the Mrs.
• Coordinating daily activities, play dates and appointments; providing or supervising transportation both to and from
• Assisting with language skills and tutoring as needed
• Creating fresh, light and healthy meal options for the children with organic-only ingredients
• Working in tandem with the family’s full-time Housekeeper to ensure proper stock and supply procurement, etc.; as well as assisting with laundry for the children as needed
• Various Family Assistant and gatekeeper duties as needed (retrieving dry cleaning, errands, travel planning, and assistance with the family’s upcoming 2018 move)
• Candidate must strive to create a fun, safe, and supportive environment for the Mrs., as well as a nurturing and trusting relationship with each of the children

• Strong command of English language and communication skills, both written and verbal; French or Spanish fluency a STRONG plus
• Excellent references required from both current and previous employers
• Minimum 5 – 7+ years related experience working as a childcare provider / Nanny for a private home or family
• CPR and First Aid required; additional childcare-related certifications a plus
• Exceptional organizational skills and dedication to responsibilities
• Comfortable working in an environment requiring simultaneous care for multiples (4 children total, 3 under the ideal candidate’s immediate care (ages 3, 6 and 8)
• Comfortable working in tandem with a stay-at-home Mrs., as well as working synergistically to provide care for all 4 children as needed
• Adept in all aspects of basic, child-friendly organic cooking and meal-prep for the children on a daily basis
• Active and agile; able to seamlessly move about the residence, as well as play actively with the young children, with ease
• Extremely flexible as related to hours and position scheduling; comfortable working a 5-day flexible schedule, Wednesday – Sunday, inclusive of weekends
• Valid Driver’s License; confident driver who is comfortable driving children; a car will be provided by the family
• Valid Passport; willing and able to travel with the family for the months of July and August to the Hamptons & Martha’s Vineyard where a private room and bath will be provided
• Legally able to work in the United States for any employer
